Hello,

anyone you'll recommend to look at bike electrical problems in Auckland?

the CB400 I just bought has got some issues after last night's rain, it is missing at around 5'000rpm and the indicators have stopped working.

if anyone has got workshop manuals or can help would be apperciated.

Thanks
Zapf

have you tried emptying a can of CRC over the electrix?
Also try making sure everything plugged in. if all your indicators not working then look for the relay, unplug and plug all the connections. if th relay ticks when you turn the indicators on then look after the relay, if no sound then before the relay.

Remember to spray the HT leads.

thanks... CRC / WD40 worked.

a bit in the plug leads and some in the indicators... fuse was blowen. contacts in the indicator was shorting..... took 3 fuses to find that out!

water proofed the indicators with PVA now... didn't have any else handy.

No worries :) glad to be of assistance.

duck tape or 'lectrical tape works good to hold indicators together.
I usually give the wires around the headlight and under the seat a good squirt.
