Anyone have any experience with anodizing rims? i'm wanting to get mine done. Any recommendations preferably in Auckland.

Fyi Alert Anodizing seems to be the go however you have to get the part chemical stripped first. Lady on the phone said they also out source the part to be polished before anodizing.

Very clear on what they will/can/can't do. Price was fair, timing was good. Do exactly what they say, which is refreshing for NZ tradesman. Would use them again.

Perfect. I was wanting a review on these guys because they do the stripping, polishing and anodizing( not sure if they outsource, but you only send it to one place). Cheers

Cheers for that link imdying! I was thinking about getting my mufflers redone due to poor colour match, but then read this "Colour matching can be problematic". I think I'll go the paint route instead.

Hmmm, so how many of these places do "Hard anodizing" and how many only do "Soft"?
