Hi

I've got a couple of kids and just bought a 2000 QR50. This suits the 5 yr old perfectly, will be good for both of them to learn on, but the lanky 8yr old will soon be ready for something bigger. I hear that the Kawasaki's are power hogs which wouldn't suit her leisurely requirements, and the other bikes all look the same physical size? What bike(s) is a bit bigger physical size (50cc still probably OK) i.e. next size up from QR50 (we keep the QR50 & buy a second bike)?

Thanks

maybe a jr80 or the ds80 would fit the bill or even a xr100

crf70, ttr90 or ttr110 or KLX110 if you want to stay auto clutch, jr80/ds8- if you want to go for a clutch, or a xr/crf80 as well,

the KX60/65s are more a race bike

Worth a look at a CRF80 too. Got one for my 9yr old (then) and its a good bike with low seat height.

I just bought my 7yr old boy the PW80. It's his first bike so just learning but it seems to be a good size and easy for him to operate.
