Sam Smith did good work at eastern Creek on the weekend to win the Barry Sheene Memorial trophy plus a couple of other exciting races.Pete Lodge`s beautiful ES2 Norton did the job just grand. Huge congratulations to the team.It has become a high profile meeting and is attracting some interesting bikes and riders.

Good on young Sam and the mighty Norton.

One day I must attend this meet...it's a must see.

Have a look at some pic's.

Great news! I thought that Sam had given it away. Is he going to get back in to racing modern bikes?

I looked at trying to get my New Era (pre '89) bike over there this year, but ran out of coin.
Maybe next year. I'd love to have a race on that track, it has sooo... much GP history.

Great to hear. It would have been a bit of a shame if the towel was chucked in after a couple of downers in recent years. Best of luck to him!
