The good old days of running to your local on a Thursday morning in the hope of finding a bargain. Turning straight to the section you liked to trawl through, highlighting the maybe's then calling them with your list of questions. Only to get an ear full of 'sorry its sold' replies.

I say we bring back the Trade & Exchange! They even have a website and all.

I am sick of Trademe and their ridiculous fees that are ever increasing.

Yeah I remember those days of T and E,but now it's all about online.

Trade Me's fees are disgustingly high,we should all start using free services like sella.co.nz

I hate the fact you cant go and view the item on TM.

I've got so much bad feedback and usually because I won something, the seller lied, I confronted them on their dishonesty and rather than them doing the right thing, it all turned to shit. Sigh

I mean, where alse do you buy second hand items sight unseen?

Yeah that may be so,but back in the days before Trade Me,it was the paper you got if you wanted to buy/sell something.

I still use T&E... it's how I found my car - in better condition with less miles than those listed on TM, and asking price $1000 less.

read my thread on t&e scams. if you dont beleive me, advertise a bike or car on their site. you will get heaps of overseas people trying to "buy" your car or bike. they will insist on only using paypal.
its funny but ever since i sent the reply about fucking their mother and getting bj's from the sister, all the emails have stopped.....
