Stumbled across this on YouTube:

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/3jfPGRri34g&hl=en_GB&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/3jfPGRri34g&hl=en_GB&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

Good illustration of the hazard posed by elevation changes obscuring visibility, I suppose.

I've had the same thing happen, and once it happened two times from the same person coming out of the same driveway.

Motorists just don't expect you to be moving that quickly in tight areas. Sure they might be wrong, but its our neck on the line.

Umm in this case I'd say the guy on the bike is wrong. Looks like a bit of traffic out ... can't really see the speedo but I think it shows about 170... yea..

excellent braking... didn't flip it over the front or lock the front wheel and go down. Good shit.

Most people would have just pussied with the front brake and locked the rear going flying down the road. Rear brake just not worth it....
