Spotted below on the Newstalk Zb newsite, linked to several other websites as well.
I have noticed this several times from their website.
Seems the reporters just send in an electronic form of report that is just uploaded without any proof reading, not only for spelling mistakes but for accurate data.
We all love to bitch an moan about how the journo's sensationalist attitude perverts the truth from the story often, but then again this shows that they are just lazy and cannot be bothered researching the facts.
The most prolific points scorer in Super Rugby has helped end the Waratahs' stay at the top of the Super 14 ladder.
Dan Carter has surpassed Stirling Mortlock as the highest points scorer in the competition's history after kicking five penalties in the Crusaders' 20-13 win over the Waratahs in Sydney. Crusaders coach Todd Blackadder says their scrum was the key to their victory. He says their scrum was a weapon and they were on top for the entire match. The Crusaders are now second on the Super 14 ladder, four points behind the top of the table Bulls. They are the only New Zealand side in the top six, after the Blues slumped to a 33-21 loss to the Stormers at Eden Park to lose ground on the top four.
In contrast, the Reds and the Brumbies remain in striking distance of the top four after bonus point wins over the Lions and the Cheetahs respectively.
