Something the Auckland Aviation enthusiasts might be keen to check out.

Not sure if they're right about 2x Zero and a Kittyhawk - I'm pretty sure there is only one Zero left flying in the world, which was in NZ for WOW. Unless there is a Harvard-Zero then I'm guessing it's probably going to be 2x Kittyhawk and 1x Zero. Either way it will be cool to see.

Yeh, opposite it perhaps? So on the side heading to Mission Bay from the city.

There's at least two Zeros flying in the world, Gareth... one of them even has a Sakae engine in it

Doesn't 1 x zero still equal zero?

Oh ok, I was told one yesterday. There is on from the Confederate Air Force in the US. Any idea who looks after the other?

Can someone take some footage of mission bay. It'll probably be on the news but edited down to a 3 sec ADHD compatible byte....

Whoops! Commemorative Air Force not Confederate! I think that the one in the video is the one that is in NZ. Thats one with a US radial. "61-120" is the one with the Sakae engine. Either way, I'm on my bike to go check it out!

Definitely only 1 sakae powered example flying in the world.
The one in the clip doesn't sound like it's got a P&W R-1830 in it.... but I could be wrong

I heard the P & W one at Wanaka, and it sounds nothing like that one when it took off.

Yeh, I was somewhat disappointed when I saw the silhouette of the Harvard rather than a Zero. I think it could maybe have been done better with the Zero and two Kittyhawks but hey, I was happy to see a cool display for free. I was up on Bastion Point and they looked like they were coming straight for us. I've got some video footage - I'll put it up if it's any good.
