Ride to Blenheim/Nelson

I am shooting up to Blenheim this Friday leaving Ashburton about 9am via SH1. Spending the night in Blenheim then heading over to Nelson to watch my daughter run her very first Triathalon. Heading home on Sunday via the Lewis. Expect to be leaving Nelson 10/11ish. If anyone is intending to ride this route this weekend the company on the road would be appreciated. Or to anyone who is looking for an excuse for a decent ride. Sorry I cannot offer any accomadation as I think I am on the couch at my daughters place in Blenheim and I don't know where I am staying in Nelson yet. I suppose there will be a spare bus shelter there somewhere!!! If you are keen PM me or just wave to me on the road. Did not post this on the 'Meetings/Event' forum as I am not trying to organise a ride, just trying to find new friends!!!Lol.....Cheers:hug:

No takers???? Just me on my lonesome I guess. Weather looks good both tomorrow and for the return trip. Looking forward to the ride back thru the Lewis. Have not been that way for many many years and never on a bike. Hope the gas stations are open on a Sunday!!!

Springs Junction has a 24hr eftpos facility (at least it did last time I rode through). I'd be keen but have other commitments. Enjoy, it is a great ride.

MMM, im on a ride this w/e with some mates leaving ch ch sat morn , through the lewis - murch - st arnaurd - blenheim overnite then eastcoast back to ch ch sunday, so wont even be able to give you a friendly wave oh well will be thinking of you anyway.
