New member - first bike (chriszzz)

Hey everyone, new to KB forums, and looking at most likely picking up my first bike in the next few days. Has anyone here ridden a Yamaha SR250? Any known issues I should look for when checking it out? a friend knows someone selling one for a good price so will most likely take it.
Will be getting my mate to test drive as I cant yet :P Going to sit my learners in a couple of weeks.

SR250 is an oldie but a goodie. Cheap to run and cheap to fix. Check carefully it's not leaking oil around its gaskets, or the worn-out front sprocket is welded on, and that it idles and revs out sweetly.

Get someone experienced to ride it if you can. Then if you like it, buy it.
