Hey, brand new here :p

But I'm thinking of the Kymco Qyannon for a good learner bike. Just wondering what you all think about Kymco?

Thanks,
James

hey mate! I started out on a Kymco Venox 250 cruiser..... I friggin loved that bike!!!!! it was the shizer!!!! people will try to put you off buying Kymco because they get confused with Chinese made products and Taiwanese of which there is a HUGE difference in quality control. I rode my Venox from my learners to my full licence, over 30,000 ks and never had a problem with it.

Have a good look around mate, and if that's what you want then get it. Lots of people get a good run with them.

Do you really want a 125? It's going to be pretty miserably slow...
I would have said that unless you really want a 125 for some reason, you'll pick up a Hyosung GT250 for about the same money (I saw a new one the other day for $4900 at the Hyo dealer next to Cycletreads in Auckland - they're discounting the carby models to run them out now that the new injected models are in).

But if it's the type of bike you want, sure why not?

Look for a CBR250. You can get a tidy one for around $4,000 and you'll have enough power to keep you happy for quite a while.

Buy a Chinese bike in 20 years. Not now!
