I'm selling my pride and joy so I don't have to keep the ACC coffers full and to buy a bike to race instead.
Comes with complete Arrow Exhaust system which cost $3000 fitted as well as the original system in a box.
Rear wheel hugger.
Crash bungs.
Screen.
In great condition, well cared for.
Absolutely amazing bike to ride, especially with the Arrow fitted, great handling, keeps up with the bigger bikes through the twisties.
Had a market valuation done and is valued at $14700
Would consider a ZXR400, CBR400, FZR400 or a VFR400(NC30) suitable for Pre-89 class or F3 racing.
Make me an offer, will consider serious offers over $13000

Mate, that must feel like selling one of your balls.

A tough ask. (You sure it's an '07?)

Yea it has taken me weeks to get the courage to make the decision to sell. If it doesn't sell I won't be too gutted. If it does sell it will take me ages to get over it, it's been the best bike I've ever owned.
Yep definitely an '07.

Wow Paul, you really have got the racing bug!! Can't say I haven't flirted with the idea of selling my road bike to fund racing another bike but I know I'd miss being able to just go for a ride whenever I felt like it, plus I love the CBR too much!!

Good luck with the sale. You could race 2 more bikes with that much dosh! Just don't make your bucket any faster!!

Unfortunately most of the money will be going on the mortgage and whats left is going towards another race bike. I don't want to pay Nick Smith any more money than I have too with rego's for over 600cc bikes getting ridiculous as well as the insurance premiums.
I will miss it heaps but the enjoyment from racing will make up for it.

Hi Allan, I have considered that, but feel that the bike without the Arrow is probably only worth about 11,500 to $12,000 and then would still need to sell the Arrow exhaust for at least $1000 to $1500 to make it worthwhile, which I wonder if someone would buy it, even for that price(the Arrow that is).

I'm guessing winter time isn't a very good time of year to try and sell a bike? Especially in the South Island.

I've had a couple of people offer me there bikes as part trade but have not heard back, shame really. Oh well, I know "It will happen!"

Probably best to hang onto it for a while and try again later in the year. They've got a special on at the moment, new street triple $12,990 and R $14,990. Thats not permanent pricing though so expect it to go back up.

Yeah, I also noticed the new bike price drop as well. I certainly hope that isn't an annual thing otherwise they'll cause crap depreciation on the street triples (i.e. like the suzuki yearly specials).

I'd also advise taking the bike off market for a while, at least until that new bike special ends at 31/08. Then re-advertise it - If you just leave it sitting on sale for a long period buyers may think there is something up with the bike (when there obviously isn't).

Just put it down to unlucky timing.

What $12,990 for a new street - now that is good value! Mind you the exchange rate with the pound is good so credit to Triumph for dropping the prices.

Holy crap thats cheap. Yea no wonder I'm struggling. I could remove it from sale but it would cost me again to relist it. I'm not using it at present due to Christchurch having real shit wet weather, not an enjoyable riding experience, especially when you have a nice warm dry car to drive. Go stuff yourself Nick Smith!

I will be selling the Arrow 3 into 1 exhaust system separately if someone is interested. How much? Make me an offer. These were $2700 retail but shit they make a hell of a difference to the power, weight and sound of your Street Triple.

Have reduced price to $13,000. Survived earthquake. Will sell Arrow exhaust separately if offered right price otherwise will keep as is.
