hehe, I finished work at 3 and went home to Lower Hutt so I haven't experienced any power cuts! :)

Apparently most of the CBD is without power. A couple of friends got sent home from work a while ago because of it. Some places still have it though. Good luck for anyone having to catch a train home!! Traffic is looking pretty slow out there towards town, lack of lights I imagine

Fucking crazy on the roads too.The motorway is like a huge carpark.Thank goodness for the lane splitting abilities of bikes.

they shud hook up gas pipes to the Mps mouths, then the entire planet could run on an endless renewable supply of methane.

I don't know how I survived. Was fun walking back up to the top of the State Tower!

There was quite a bit of panic on the floor when I got up there. Luckily as a trained Civil Defence person, I knew what to say..... "Fuck the lot of you. You chose to work up here, you knew the risks"
