Well I found out a brand new m204 and to much gravel roads dont mix to good, there is nothing left of the rear tyre, the track was quite flowing but disapointed with the amount of gravel roads some of the bush sections were realy cut up.

$40 for juniors for max 45 mins riding or solo $45 for 1 hour... real incentive to take the kids along NOT!
Didn't go... was it well patronised? Other places to be today.. some half the price for a whole days riding!!!

Yeah the amount of gravel did my head in. I'm not keen on a big crash and have to go to work self employed, so don't push hard on it. Just pisses you off when you get past people in the bush only to have the fly past on the gravel. All part of racing I guess, but if I knew so much would of been gravel I'd of not bothered going.

Actually it was a genuine question LOL!!
But looking at the results since my question, looks like there was 80 entries where scott411 had 415!
Appears to me anything over $30 bucks each and people start voting with their feet and don't go.
I just wonder if he dropped his prices $10 bucks to the Mr Moto level, he would make a shit load more money because of increased entries???
Mind you from the comments here doesn't look like the coarse was very good either?
Seems to me Power adventures and Kimmis farm seem to be in the same basket?

I'm not defending these prices but there are added expenses associated with lap scored racing that you guys are not privy too. For example it cost us nearly $1600 per round for the computer lap score equipment and personal. Plus any race /ride in Woodhill that is out side The Kawasaki Sandpit gets hit with a per bike rider fee.

Scott doesn't have these expenses for a maize paddock race. Although I suspect that he still makes a per bike donation to most cockies to cover for damage to the land.

Note; There will be virtuall no road in our 2 Man Series, July, August and Sept. Just new tracks!!!

Tony, I did all the rounds of your two man series last year and I will be back again this year. They are an extremely well run event and I suggest people get to them!

I rarely do power adventure rides simply because you don't get what you pay for, to be honest, most of his rides aren't that great although, when there's nothing else on they'll do. I don't mind paying a $40.00 fee for a ride that I know will be good.

Cheers Van.

At the end of the day its up to the individual. I think it costs $110 for the Desert storm ride. Thats $55 a day for a trail ride. Nick still gets 1,000 odd riders there and they have heaps of road.
We have a little bit of road in Jolly Roosta but thats mainly to access a bloody awesome view

IMO putting road in should only be for linking sections of track together as a last resort. The hard yards cutting tracks is so worth while when you get good feed back and also see the grins on riders faces.

I went to this on my push bike, supposidly it was the same track as the GNCC which had a huge amount of gravel roads..

There looked to be only about 50 people at this event..

Like Van said, amping for the next kwaka 2man.. stoked ill be back into riding then! Hopefully the last round doesnt have such badluck like last time for me :P

Shame the gravel sections don't seem to be getting much shorter.
They have working bees out there but I've never gone to one so I can't grizzle too much even though I hate gravel! V interesting about cost of lap timing KTMboy, that's not chump change. Running events certainly no get rich quick scheme.

Rupe, I can relate to your approach re gravel, not worth the risk going ballistic to get a few extra seconds. Good result though all the same. Looks like JT did some nice work too. Noobi, you'd have to happy as well? Your riding is certainly moving ahead. Pretty consistent lap times, you rode a solid race.

Hopefully there's not too much gravel road and a little rain comes down tonight haha.
