Just wondering been reading alot recently about peoples bad and good experiences with dealers, workshops etc etc.
I know George gets good press on here so I was just wondering how strong the KB word of mouth is in relation to the bike community. (Using recent threads as an example). Possibily worth while to find this out especially if your in the industry etc etc.
Does bad feedback / comment on here have repercussions on the business? Does good word of mouth create business? Or is the KB community too small and whats posted in these hallowed forums doesn't have much of an impact in the real world?

I took a friend to Hampton Honda look for a new bike because they have a good reputation and their customer service is excellent.

If the motorcycle industry was ruled by KB...it'd be fucked.

But your coffee is great Pete, contrary to what I had read about it, though I was verbally warned too to be fair :innocent:

Word of mouth has always been the best or worst form of advertising, especially with the internet etc to mouth off through!

I'm all for 'word of mouth', good or bad. But word of 'screen' can suck serious arse. I've seen way too many bitter twisted dickheads here try and put the knife in, to the industry in general. Most of them want to be a big name in motorcycling...but never will be. So it's their way of getting an audience.

They've now become 'someone' in the world of motorcycling, in their eyes at least. Yet they don't realize they're fucking everything for everyone else because they're really pretty simple. The industry pays for the race meetings to go ahead, and sponsors racers. When the industry folds, there will be no more racing...race meets...sponsorship or help of any type. Go for it people. Kill the industry.

Winners.

I doubt it. Funny thing is...that wasn't aimed at you...as you're not even a motorcyclist. You're simply a keyboard armed wanna be motorcyclist. Gay at that.

Case in point. Here was a positive post...shot down by someone with an axe to grind. You people really should have a good look at yourselves. Because if you have your way...and the industry folds...you'll have nothing but you're little chat sites to go to when the shit hits the fan.

And I don't see KB sponsoring that many racers/events/rallys. Do you?

You will only ever serve people who you see to be part of the problem or part of the solution. Your polarised view of the world is exclusively yours, and it will eventually undo your work, as it has undone everything else. Then you will be a nothing, as you project onto me.
