View Full Version : Another Daytona lesson, YAY, I think I got it sussed this time.

I am lucky enough to be getting riding lessons on a 955i Daytona. A big difference from my Bonnie.
My first ride was not that sucessful, I was so bloody uncomfortable & my wrist was so sore but this time was a totally different story. We went to Kaiaua for lunch, then to kopu & back to Pukekohe.

I got the riding position sorted and tried to relax.
I now know to watch the rev counter
Lost the death grip on the handle bars that was making my wrists sore.

WOW, I didnt want to get off. I am totally hooked.

So if you see a bright yellow Triumph being riden by a chic in a pink helmet with the biggest grin on her face, thats me!!!!!:yes:

There was a sexy black one in my garage a year or two back & all I could good do was watch it pull away from me:bye:
I had no chance off riding it, my hobbit legs were swinging in the breeze on it:shutup:

Agreed, the centenary version in BRG is super hot.

Yep those 955i's are great fun. I love the old "nattering burble" the sagem computer gives it at idle. Very euro.
