Gday ive started a build recently and have now come to the point of needing to do the wiring. But one small problem. i bought the bike burnt out. Ive striped the remander of burnt rubber and plastic. The fella who owned it before me went to the pub for a ride and yea went out for a "smoke":doobey: only to find his bike engulfed in flames. hahaha he then parked it up on a farm for 10-15 years and yea. So i have a burnt out Yammie XS400 with no wiring at all no plastics and alil bit o rust.

And i want to turn it into something like this

Now i was wondering if any one could help me out in the way of figuring out the wiring and or the necessity's needed for this beast would be muchly appreciated. Cheers :scooter:

i have a diagram for one kicking about, or i could try and come of with a simplified one, as they are quite complicated

they have seperate reg and rec, but that could be combined,
ditch the fuse box and just have a main fuse, have just a dimmer switch and no, on/off for the lights,
and do away with the self cancelling indicator circuit. ect ect

shame your in smelly tauranga really :D

Sheee-it are you gunna rebuild that? Much respect if you pull that off.

Yeah I'd design my own from scratch, but I'm inclined that way.
