I am doing my bit to organise the Wpac Taranaki Rescue Helicopter Trust donations this year.

Every year the chopper saves hundreds of lives - many of those are bikers. I have created a website which you can go on and make your donations securely.

All donations will go to the Westpac Helicopter Charity and will be channeled into the Taranaki Chopper from there.

Even if you do not live in the Naki, there are plenty of twisties here and chances are you or someone you care about, might be passing by and need your life saved by the chopper, so do it for the greater good. I would love to see the support of all regions - including my hometown Auckland on the list of donators.

My target is to raise $2000 and we are off the mark! So donate generously fellow bikers and lets show them we care.

Website here - https://www.fundraiseonline.co.nz/RajSarinWestpacChopperCharity/

Thanks in advance.

Excellent cause - these guys are the ones who really pick you up when you are down!
Rep to the man for giving it a go!

Sorry, I knew Noel Watson from Taranaki SAR and the decision by the trusties to disestablish his position, the guy who gave so much to the trust and in reality put it in the position it is today does not allow me to contribute.

Yes that was sad indeed. Always sad to loose someone who contributed so much but I am noone to comment. What we do individually to support the rescue helicopters is what matters. In the end you and I can both agree that it for a good cause, I feel safer riding around the Naki knowing that there is quick medical transport availiable if I am unfortunate enough to bin it. Thanks for your comment mate.

Done.

If we all do a small bit, it'll add up.

Thanks for donating Nutter34. I shall go to our local bike shops with flyers for them to hand out to customers and see if they too will want to partake in this noble cause.

Thanks again guys your support is such a gr8 cause.
