How are you getting on with the Cylinder head repairs? Looks messy,
Have seen them built up with alloy welding and line bored to repair damage like that before. Depends if you can find a cheap enough head and cams if its worth doing

Great day today, 1 st time bucket racing, nearly went home when found the carb was toast, but Mr. Bennett and Detlev came to the rescue with a carb and advice.
Great track you have down there. Can't wait to get back down in October.
That muffler looks interesting, loud is it?

May be worth a look, would take a fair bit of changing about to work right on an FXR tho, would be better if you could find somthing like that already set up for a four stroke.

They are quite a complex carb, esp to mod for a FXR. though have a word to richban he has the four stroke version of that series.
maybe a pumper carb would be slightly easier first up.

The 4 stroke bleed type needle jet does not fit unfortunately. TM28 is the 4 stroke version. I like them. Light weigh and easy to tune.
