Everyone rides differently, has a different 'style'
Ever been told your style looks like that of a famous racer??

Craig Shirriffs has modeled his style after my own this season.

Spending a lot of his time sliding down the track on his head................

Tall and uprighish.
Very light on the rear.

Apparently my style is completely terrible, yet effective. "Chaos in motion" and "Teflon Tyre" are the only things I have been called.
I don't ride fast, but I make up for it by adding danger to perfectly safe situations. For no reason at all.
I am every racer on the track, that rides terrible, just about arses off, but then recovers out of pure luck.

So on here do as I say, not as I do kids.

Don't agree...Pete twists his body off the bike...more like stroud or Doohan [to a point] .... Jay Lawrence or Glenn skachill are similar to ben spies...with thier hang off, parallel body with bike style. [althought Glenn has a bit of corser style in him too]...

Well I still think he does look a bit like him....probably because I've seen many other pictures with those elbows blatantly out, Ben seems to have reigned in his elbows slightly as well, they used to be so pronounced.
Stroud a little I guess, but Stroud is so tall and long that he is pretty unique and there is definitely no mistaking him on the track. Doohan hmmmmm not as much, he doesn't lead with his shoulder like Mick kinda does.

Have you got pics of Jay and Glen???

Trying to look really good on your bike is very important when being lapped by half the field just as they are taking the chequered flag, I find...

Thing is...I generally look quite different depending on what I'm riding! Racing my 883 was quite different to piloting my RS250 GP bike, which was different to racing KX500's etc etc!

Road racing KX500's are some of my best road racing memories! When they were still competitive in F2, it was a great/cheap way to road race on street circuits. I'll see if I can dig up a few pics from back in the day!
