Okay so I bought a banged up JR50 for my boys fixed her up and got it running, Needed a new piston, rings all the gaskets and just a general tidy up. Go it running with out to much trouble, My current issue is that when you lean the bike to the right the engine speeds up and when you lean it to the right it just cuts out, If you add choke you can keep it going for a bit longer but it stills cuts eventually. When you start it it starts first kick but after it cuts it is bitch to get going and and sounds like it is bogging down when it does start. The carb is the only that I have not looked at on the engine, every thing else is fine. Any ideas before I pull it to bits?. The problem does not happen when you turn the bars only when you lean it over so my first thought of a tight cable or something llike that dosn't seem likely.

Cheers, Pete.

my sons ktm did the same thing and i done a few things and it fixed the probem.
i strripped the carb down and cleaned in to the max . i also reset the float to the manufacture level and made sure that the float was turning the fuel off. put bike back together and it runs great now.
i also checked the overflow vents and hoses on the carb too.
and checked for air leaks
