View Full Version : Stolen bikes (Auckland) 3rd May - Ducati 998 & ZX636R
Hey Peeps,
My friend had his garage broken into last night and both his gold ZX636 and another friend's Ducati 998 stolen!.
If I can ask you all please to keep an eye out for these bikes and let me 021 355 278 or rob know (021 801 711) it would really really really be appreciated.
Some of you may know Rob, and know that he has come on some pretty hard times of late (losing his house, business, savings but not his bike....) and it is absolutely gutting now this has happened to him.
As riders we all know how much we treasure our bikes, please help, Rob really needs something to go right for him for once.

Where abouts in Auckland? Also colors and plates would be helpful.....
Stolen from Surrey Cresent - Van came in at 2.54am took 6 mins to load and leave, returned 10mins later(meaning they're damn close to surrey cresent), took another 6 mins to load the second bike and leave again. dumped the stolen van soon after.
I'm not sure what the rego was for the red Ducati 998s,
Rob's 2005 ZX636 was bronze with a black lower fairing / under tray, no flames on sides.
Rego: 11ZGH
It has a stainless yoshi pipe, integrated front indicators, integrated indicator rear brake light (apparently the braking light was not working when brake is pushed but is on as normal , indicators were working, should make it easy to spot) pillion pegs have been removed, Rear seat has a cover/cowl
Many Thanks
Murray

Sorry about the bikes J-Rod.
I would suggest you start the thread again so those wishing to hi jack it, like some have, and make it into some thing completely different leave it to what its really about.
Do you have pictures or any ideas on vehicle used to transport bikes.

Probably dumped the van and loaded the bikes onto a different vehicle....or is there a handy garage they may have wheeled them into?
