So anyways,

Went out Saturday night to a mates birthday bash way out in West Auckland, still very much fizzing after the AAG protest ride earlier in the day.

Having a chat with this guy who I sort of know who was in Queen Street and witnessed our epic noise. He was pretty impressed with it all gawd bless him.

Next thing I know, this older lady has joined in the conversation and was very enthusiastic about people with passion who protest because they believe in their chosen cause.

I remarked that sometimes you cant just sit back when something pisses you off, you have to seize the moment and go for it.

Then she said it…..

“too fucking true boy, why wait until you have gone grey to dye your hair…..!!”

The point being, why wait for anything, do it and do it now…

Fucking love that quote, had to share it….

Hmmm...for me to be cougar bait, the cougar would have to be truly geriatric...damn. Missed out again...

EDIT: Actually, come to think of it, I did have a retirement village resident make the move not so very long ago. She must have been eighty plus, but she fair turned it on when I turned up to deliver her booze to her - out of the goodness of my heart you unnerstand her bein' a pore ole widder woman an orl...she had the loose fitting top on which showed all to everyone (and no they weren't round her knees either) and she made sure I got the eyeful at every opportunity. She was also very touchy-feely with it...I kept as close to the door as I could - ready to sprint if I had to...

I thought to myself "I bet she gives all the old buggers in this place the run-around" as I scarpered out of there as fast as I could...dangerous territory those retirement villages...
