Some of the best rides are the ones when you're out by yourself and you just keep going. 100km turns into 200 ... turns into 300... into 400.. etc :scooter::yes:

Then, all of a sudden, it's a lifestyle.

Gidday Nick, Festus here. We used to ride in the NZCC. Good to catch up with you and look forward to riding with you again soon. Enjoyed your blogs so far. Just come back from Warbirds over Wanaka on my new C50. Just magic. Went down through Buller and the west coast and back up the east coast. A must do if you get the chance. Stayed in pubs and just rocked up on the day and had no probs getting accomo even managing to lock our 7 bikes up in their garages over night most of the time especially in Novotel Welly, Wakatu pub Nelson, and Revingtons pub Greymouth. They couldnt do enough for us. Will catch you soon. Cheers Paul

Hi Nick - just visited your blog site - great effort mate. I look forward to reading your blog of your trip. Remember to take tie downs for the ferry (4 is best) and prepare for some chilly moments. You will have a great time.
