That seems a bit of a cock-up with the design of the course, if you can't stop after crossing the finish line at full speed. How long has that been known about?

Proven on TV1 Today -- Who knows how long the officials there have known about it, People have informed them about it, but as we see, Nothing changed O well.

Apart from that, I think the track is exellent, facillities are still crap, but they will come I guess

The track start/finish cock up was known about months before the Nationals.

On the plus side I think Craig came across very well, giving Honda and bike racing a great representation. Well done mate, and thanks for the lil' insight into your season.

How many people come to a complete stop on the start/finish straight immediately after crossing the finish line in a race? Would be a dumb place to stop if you ask me.

Well, yeah. Can't make it round the next corner is what I mean, I guess. Can't avoid crashing.

They are not talking about stopping - they are talking about slowing down enough to make turn one !!!
I hope it's only a problem for the fast guy's (I doubt I could get enough corner speed and acceleration out of the final turn to make my brake point before the line ) but it sure as shit shows what "commitment" means !!!

Those guys were awesome :2thumbsup

I thought Craig came across well considering motorcycle riders get interviewed on TV about once in a blue moon. Unlike the other two who seem to be regular contributors to TV1 motorsport coverage.. Emma Gilmour even does the ads in between the show and pre race pace notes.
Also noticed the VERY strategically placed CKT stickers.........
