Did anyone read the story today of the person who failed over 900 times?.
They just passed it, so watch the fuck out!.
I know a chick who failed 45 times, but this is on another planet.
There definately should be a limit where authorities simply say "no, you will never be allowed to drive, you are obviously retarded".
Classic example of authorities only caring about all the cash they rake in, and not giving two fucks about who this person is going to wipe out.
My money is on a biker, or a pedestrian. Aw fuck me, 900+ times, they probably will drive into a house.....

.
45 times is out of this planet too!
I think if you fail it you should have to do extra tests to pass.
One of my papers at Uni, if you fail the first essay, which is a small one, you have to take a whole communications paper to complete your degree. Yep, a full paper for failing a very miniscule part of another paper. It's a first year paper, so not really a huge deal ie. it's not going to kill anyone.
These retards that fail the extra tests in addition to the standard ones should be micro chipped. A bit like an immoboliser! If they are in the drivers seat the car wo'nt start!
Seriously, we take this stance with a first year paper most reasonably intelligent people should pass, then they should really make it at least as hard to be authorised to operate a damn 1.something ton missile!

People fail their Drivers Licence test?? It's almost a fucking give away!! Turn up with all the lights etc working and don't crash into anything and you're licensed to kill. How can you fail?!?!
Didn't they used to give them out with weet-bix?
What's the math on that at 80 bucks a pop..x 900????? ka ching!
How does one fail it so many times, why the fuck go back that many times??? Mental health issues or determination to succeed!
It's never been infailable! One of my crazy schoolmates failed 6 times before passing on the 7th attempt. In one fail, he caused a 3 car collision and in another he ran out of gas. Don't know what happened the rest! But it WAS a piece of piss. I had my full car license and restricted bike at 15. Yes even me!

Fucken hell! That's nuts! I'm no special k, but I passed my class 2 and 4 with no study. I say again i'm not super intelligent, and I passed the first time........with the extra questions....
I think this shows quite clearly a good reasoning for an extra set of training and testing for multiple failures.....

phew, she aint a kiwi. its a south korean lady who sat the theory 950 times, costing 11000 pounds sterling. now she just has to pass the practical.... does anyone know of any epic nz fail? the person i know is 45 fails for passing from R to full.
its scary that these kinds of people get there.....eventually. road safety is not acheivable for everyone, so some people just shouldn't be driving. its not a right, its a priviledge.
Geez them South Koreans can't drive aye?!
Oh hell, how would I know :innocent:

900 times. I'm finding that hard to believe. Just think about it. If you booked in once a week, that's 900 weeks, or 17 years. Also imagine the huge cost.

When the wife did her 6R practical there was a woman there who was on her 9th (we think from memory it could have been more) try to sit her 1R, she failed on the basis the car was umm rooted and she could not get it into reverse, but you get the idea, she actually rebooked for the next week.

Because it never happened, I suspect. If they sat their test every working day of every working week, that's 180 working weeks. Thanks to intrusions like public holidays, there are less than 52 working weeks in a working year. But, for argument's sake, let's assume there are 50 working weeks a year, that's nearly four years worth of contiguous driving tests. Let's not factor in the costs or indeed the fact that this endeavour would have been newsworthy after a years worth of unsuccessful attempts.
My bullshit detectors are nearly off the scale on this one.

ok now you imagine people like this (the korean 900 clubber OR the NZ 45 x clubber), being sent up for compulsory jury service. then imagine them getting picked for a rather important high profile case. rather scary and lends to some of the other recent posts about criminal charges being dropped as badly as watching the blackcaps fielding, due to jury decisions....
I would argue that perhaps we need to tighten up on our priviledge giving, as a society. I guarantee that this would lead to a lower road death toll. GUARANTEE. Nah lets just keep spending pooh loads on telling people its not ok to drink and drive.
I would have thought that was fucking obvious.
