You might be right but come summer when the scaremongering around ACC is done with and people realise a 1000cc is only $99.22 more a year to license then a 600cc crotch rocket I think prices will recover again.
If anyone wants a bargain it's my pick that now is the best time to take advantage

The last one it got, was it's last year wof.

my humble opinion is, that if you are maintaining ur sickle, $40 test ea yearor 6mths makes butkiss diff in the real world...apart from the extra 40pa.
does keep you up to date re; stuff coming up may need attention...............bleh

I'm not 100% sure but when I got the last wof the tester indicated that I should get 1 more 1yr wof because it'll be due before its 6th birthday, I guess I'll find out for certain when I take it through.

Creative accounting more like it:
$200 worth of rego + $500 worth of new tyres +$8200 for the bike = $8900
sure its a little creative but how many people buy bikes with stuffed tyres and bugger all rego and wof left on them.

true that - but a wof tester ain't going to find anything on my 5yr old bike with 16,752 kms that I won't find myself in my pre-ride check.

I can say a dealership will probably offer less than that. Significantly less. They offered me $7000 for my Z750. Sold it later that evening for $7800 privately. The dealer woulda got it off me and put it on the floor for $12995.
When I talked about trades though they offered to take it off me for $9000 provided I bought a bike worth about $14995.
Unless they can make a fair amount of change off your bike, they won't bother. Fair enough really. No one seems to want bikes that are more than $5000. Every bike I sold in the past 3 years was between $2000 - $5500 and it went in under a month. The Z750 took me almost 3 if not more.

Well its official once a vehicle turns 6yrs old it must under go 6mthly wof.
As my bike still has a few weeks to go before turning 6 it was issued with a 12 month WOF today.
