On the way home from work this evening I noticed my indicators on the Guzzi were blinking very long and slowly. Has never done this before and everything else electrical seems to be OK. Does this sound like a relay on the way out or does it [I]indicate[I] (pun intended) a deeper problem? Any ideas or suggestions appreciated.

It indicates to me either a blown bulb - check all four, or a dicky relay. The relay should be cheap to replace.

Yup,
One of your bulbs has most likely got corrosion in the receptacle.... Corrosion doesn't conduct electricity well.... Yes, it can be an intermittent problem.

Sounds like your flasher unit is crook.

I was lucky on my NS1, and was able to pull it apart, and get some CRC CO Contact Cleaner in there.
Good as gold now.

It was the flasher unit. Replaced it today after a phone call to Emoto to find out where it is located so as I wasn't removing all sorts of things just to find it. My Italian Stallion now has a "made in Korea" part hidden away on it. Thanks for the help.

Umm, I would rate Korean Electronics over Italian Electronics any day ;)
