Has anyone had one of these before? I have found it on bikebits.co.nz. Used to give you an accurate reading on your speedo. But why I am looking at it is apparently it also converts MPH to KMP.

My new bike is in miles per hour. It does have k's below on the speedo so that's all good. But its the trip meter that is only in miles. As I will be taking it on quite a few trips up country I am keen to get a kilometer counter, to help me with keeping an eye on petrol between stations etc. I'm sure I'll learn to convert it all in my head soon enough, but if I could get a converter I would be keen.

If anyone has used these before would love to know if they were any good. Cheers.

Am worried about the wiring of them. Doesn't seem to be many other products in NZ that do the converting. I don't have to have one, sure I will adapt. But I would like something if possible.

Ive had one of these on both a TL1000S and a FZ6N.

Extremely simple to fit - takes about 30 seconds to fit or unfit on the Fazer - if its the genuine healtronics speedohealer that is. simply has a plug which plugs into the loom, usually under the tank. Calibrate using the online calculator (great if you change tyre sizes or sprockets) and away you go.
