Hi folks I'm kicking around the idea of running an Adventure riders training/ social get together in Dunedin.
My plan is to have bikes/ gear on display and cover a large variety of topics from bike set up/ preparation, riding gear, group riding, suggested routes etc followed by a social evening.
This is not to teach anyone how to ride, just give them an idea of how to go about getting into adventure riding, what to expect and have the chance to meet fellow riders. We would have experienced riders on hand to answer questions.
This is aimed at novice or potential adventure riders but we would encourage experienced riders to come along later in the evening to have a few Fantas and tell lies. We would have photos and DVDs of adventure rides playing in the background.
This would be followed by an organised ride within a week or two.
This would be hosted by the Otago Motorcycle Club.
Is there any interest in this? If so please PM me so I can get an idea of numbers.
The cost would be a maximum of a gold coin donation for supper. "Refreshments" would be available for purchase.
Thanks, Craig.
