They have had the domain for a while
Quasi @ moto would seem an obvious choice

maybe you are paranoid
or maybe they really are trying to get you (seems to be working)

if someone is pretending to be you just say that's not my domain or email nothing to do with me

Contact the Police and see what they can do. You may find it has something to do with one of the 'other' Quasi companies, not you....

NZ is but a tiny lil smudge on the worlds radar....

Post it on your blog along with a screenshot to back it up (just to ensure you are not going to be accused of defamation).

Then email your customer base warning them there may be a scam involving quasi@moto.com trying to be you (make sure you back this up with facts, not just hearsay).

Banks do this all the time as they are targeted all the time. Communications can be an effective damage control.

I think the odds are that they are faking that email address. The owner of moto.com is probably just as much a victim in this as you are. It is not hard to fake the 'from' email address. I get spam from my own address all the time. I doubt you will be able to trace whoever is doing it, you'd probably get a better idea by looking at what and who they are emailing, and building up an idea of who would have those contacts, and want to ruin your reputation.
