Maria Costello - the fastest woman ever round the IoM TT circuit - in her Northwest 200 debut, was the third fastest 400. In the joint 125cc/400cc race Maria rode the RLR Motorsports Honda RVF400 to 7th place overall. She also raced in both 600cc classes on her Bering Honda CBR600RR.

“I’m absolutely over the moon with my result. I don’t think it has really sunk in yet." said Maria, "But I’m really pleased, especially as it is my first time here at the North West. The RVF400 was a great bike to ride and I owe a special thank you to Tim Bradley and Ricky at RLR Motorsports for making this possible."

Maria is certain to make the trip to Ireland next year for the North West 200, saying “I’ll definitely be back next year, no question.”
