Hey Everyone
I'm considering entering into the Tarawera 100, and just have a few questions on what to expect, and how far over my head I will be.
1. As I have never done an Enduro before, im not too sure what type of track/terrain to expect. Im guessing that it will be a mix of everything, but are there any obsticles or extreamly challanging parts that I should practice.
2. Grades; not too sure how the grades work. Im guessing that I would be put into either the 300cc+ motocross or Enduro class (WR400), but will I be destined for last place before I even start, or will I actually have a chance to make my way to somewhere (just above last place). I have no problem coming last, however I do have a problem with being "that cunt getting in the way all the time". Is there a Novice grade?
3. Practice; any suggestions on where I could get some practice in the mean time. Ive done a few trail rides, gone into the Akatarawa's alot, and done a few laps around "hairy hills raceway" in the waiarapa's, but other than that, I don't have any track/race time.
4. The main question; is it sensible entering into this race, or is it more for the talented racers that have skill from here to ying yang.
I'll be grateful for any input.
Cheers
