Well, I wasn't going to bother posting this but being Friday afternoon and all, I figured sharing some positive stuff was in order. Some of you will know that I've been pootling about on my lil' ol' 250 Hornet for well over 2 years despite having my full for bloody ages. Finally got my shit together and scored up my partner's old man's bike - a VFR750FV. :scooter:

So a bit of a move up - 40odd HP es to 100odd HP, and the weight factor too. I did 400km yesterday to pick it up from Taupo back to Auckland, a large portion of which was in the pissing rain on the Southern Moronway. Wow. What a huge difference! Way more comfortable (I'm 6'2") so no more cramped knees and numb ass [insert Honda joke here].

So in summary, yay. But not sorry that I waited until I was ready to get a big bike. Very happy!

And also, if anyone reading happens to be in the market for a beautiful blue 250 Hornet, hit me up.
