I'm new here. Does anyone know anything about filtering...? i.e. legal, not legal, bending rules, when it can be done, etc...

Welcome

Bit of advice number 1.
You're not gonna get very far with a name like Cop Hater. Particularly as there are guys here who are cops that would be happy to give you advice on the legal position re' filtering.

Bit of advice part 2.
Do a search on filtering or splitting

etc etc

Sorry to appear patronising, but...

Welcome

Second that - maybe there's a legit reason for the moniker, tell us about it... you'll find plenty of threads discussing the police and their policies, but that user name will only invite prejudice...cops are people too.

Other than that - welcome to the madhouse!

It's that 5th button down from the red button on the lower level, left hand side on the THING. Hold the button down, and as the beeps get faster, the coffee filter get more Filtery! :killingme

Dear me,, Where do I get them from?! :D
I amuse myself anyway.

I just hope I never have to go through customs one day!

Welcome to the fun mr cophater, I sense you will fit in just fine with a bunch of people here, as for filtering I use a 4 stage filter for my coffee, I hate those little chunks..

On another note I think that everyone on this site would indulge in the act of filtering (there coffee that is...)...

Filtering? What's that all about then? Have we ever discussed that here before?Doh! I always knew it as 'lane-splitting' until some kind soul introduced the term "filtering" to me...about a year after that conversation I spent a good afternoon trying to think of that word used to describe 'lane-splitting' but it eluded my mind - I had to Google it to remind me...ahhhh *filtering*!

Indeed. I dispensed with my usual policy of giving rep as a welcome to new arrivals having read that.

Hang on CSL, that's not quite true. SD does ride a Hog after all, and as for Spud, he doesn't even own a bike anymore, so he can't be that good a bloke either. :D

thanks for the welcomes and feedback.
In the interest of peace, I will have my username changed as soon as Wari msgs me.

I do know that some cops are human. But as yuo may see in my other thread, I've been a victim of theft lately and have friends and family who have experienced the same. Cops will not do anything. Furthermore, ....revenue gathering....I better stop there..

In the mean time, I'll check all the links you guys provided when I get the chance. thanks again

I find that a handful of (unwashed/unused) coffe grinds, and 2 squares of dairy milk chocolate... cheap and VERY good for the energy levels !
