Just shouted the sem fiddy a Yoshimura R-55 muffler.
I'm extremely pleased with the result! Just fitting the muffler alone has really "cleaned up" the power delivery... nice and smooth. :)
Just fitted a PC111 this arvo too. Dynojet supply a map for the R-55... unfortunately it is for US spec bikes. There is, however, a map for Euro spec and Yoshi can, so I have downloaded and installed that one in the PC111 until I have a chance to take the sem fiddy to see Gary Pendleton.
Update to follow after the custom map is done.....

Yeah... thought of that, Sean... but decided against it. Keep the tail light stone-chip free, and shite off my back when it's raining.
A gel seat, and that's about it!... although RT has another valving spec he'd like to try in the forks.
I'm VERY surprised at the difference the R-55 has made... took the bike for a ride before I fitted the Power Commander, and found it VERY responsive.
Can't wait to have Gary do his magic on a custom map! :niceone:

Probably a wise choice? I never gave that much thought before I created my tail tidy, but the "skunk look" really isn't cool. Even less cool standing at the servo scrubbing your back with the windscreen brush.........................going by the looks from others!:gob:

It's got a similar noise level to stock with the baffle in. That's actually not that quiet.... the stock noise level for the Euro and Aussie spec(which mine is) is 102dB. It sounds good without being offensively loud

Went for another pootle.... the on/off characteristic that the stock set up K6/7 750 has at approx 4000rpm has gone!
Rolling the power back on now is nice! Engine seems to run smoother, too.
All of this with a generic type map in the PC.... I reckon it will be awesome when Mr. Pendleton has done the mapping

That's why you should sit at around 8000rpm...:bleh:

But I know what you mean, it's really evident when you're trying to get on the throttle smooth, downhill, on a wet greasy road (ie Southern side of Mt Messenger!)

You hear a crackle, crackle, pop as you gently roll it on, then there's an unpleasant lurch forward (sideways) as the pulse width of the injectors increases from zero to what feels like 50 milliseconds!

A huge hole...some would call it 'character'

Heard the Scorpian the other day on a six-hundy. Very nice. Cleans the under-side of the bike up to with the 'cat' all gone (probably ended up at a Chinese restaurant :shifty:)

Yep... know what you mean! It feels like a fuelling issue... but after the results I've experienced with the R-55, I reckon it's a back pressure jobbie. Rock around and see for yourself, Paul. I reckon you'll be wanting to give your VISA card a thrashing!!

Haha! Good one!
Rcktfsh still hasn't made me a decent coffee... despite the fact he has qualified as a Barista.
Cheeky little bugger should make himself available for dwarf throwing competitions.....
