time for some HTFU pills? I got some good warm + waterproof Revit gear over summer and it doesn't make much difference to me now whether it's raining or not, apart from the cold hands

Pretty wet riding in this morning alright - tried out my TecniFlex over pants - boy are they the best thing (including sliced bread)

I got out for a shortish run this morning - didn't even put the wets on. Spent an hour dodging huge shower patches - didn't even get a drop on the visor - more by luck than good management. Lots of fun to do though - the shower dodging I mean...

What wet weather?

I've been riding to & from Unitec for the last couple of days and I haven't ran into much 'horrible' weather like the news is making out. There's only been the occasional gusts & medium rain but nothing terrible.

Well it is raining pretty good here in the Hutt.
Luckily my cheap as chips Warehouse PVC overcoats and pants are totally waterproof. Just need to get me some waterproof gloves.

Rain-offs, wouldn't be seen in the rain without 'em. NZ made too.

wholly - that was a fun trip back to welly..........
That would be the heaviest rain I have seen for a long long time - but dry apart from the gloves, there is some sad looking cars parked up from otaki all the way back.
Bring on winter.

Heh, loving the rain. Anyone else sliding out the rear wheel on clear corners just for the hell of it? And those roundabouts by the airport, too!

I might have to invest in some plastic overgear though, the codura pants seem to leak at the crotch (honest!) and the jacket is no longer waterproof at the elbows...

Well, I've been taking von Klunken to werk, and so far I haven't had to put my waterproof pants on, or gotten wet feet, despite my leaky old boots. Unless it starts raining *heavily* I'll be OK. On ffwabbitt it would be quite a different story of course, if ever there was a wet bike he is it.
