Would anyone be able to help me out? I'm looking for shocks for an rd250e 1978. Oem parts aren't easy to come by and so I'm looking after market.

I need to know the distance between the mounting holes on the standard suspension along with the width of the mounting holes.

Any help appreciated.

Or alternatively, would these fit? I've been told that they 'might'. :P

something like a Koni 7610 would be ideal, been superceded by Ikon part #7610-1525

Maybe if I had a spare $700.

Hagon, without double checking around $495 NZ for a pair. Not wonderful but probably wont instantly rattle your bones.

Get hold of Murray Smith at Seal Imports 2B Udy Street Petone, Wgton.
He's an RD nut and probably could find some Konis or the like.
He'll quote the part number off the top of his head, I'm betting. G.
