You dont need medication, you need a smack!!! I would rather ride a horse than own harley....

Why don't you buy a boat instead? It'll handle better.

No, it's perfectly fine. Just don't forget that you'll need to trade in your old gear (pic a) for your new outfit (pic b).

Don't worry mate. Anyone that knocks a modern Harley obviously hasn't ridden one and wouldn't have a fucking clue.

Pff haha There used to be things wrong with hyosungs, not so much anymore, who cares if they aren't the fastest.

In erlation to Hysoungs AND this topic: if it tickles your fancy then who cares!

I've ridden quite a few Hyonsungs, and their only real problem is the build quality...or lack of. But they're getting better all the time

Modern harley, that is a oximoron :) there isnt such a thing as "modern harley".....there is a "new" harley but thats about all, lol ..you still get same old Evo Vtwin(do they still user iron blocks?), steel frame and spring suspension like 30 years ago...

IF you going to get one, at least get a Buell or something....

Madness! Don't do it!! Just kidding, I must admit I love the sound of a Harley ... but any time I hop on any other bike from my Beamer it just feels like I would be trading down.

What rock have you been hiding under Noddy? The evo was last built in year 2000, and yes...that was an alloy top end on the old shovel motor. But the Twin cam (1st used in the Dyna family in 1999) is a totally new and remarkably modern engine. Hell...they're all six speed boxes and fuel injected too! As far as suspension goes...gee lets see....ummm...the XR1200X uses Showa big piston forks (just like a GSXR1000) and piggy back Showa rear shocks. You are probably not aware that all Buells (apart from the 1125R & 1125CR) used Sporty bases engines either.

Ok well maybe they did get their shit together since i last saw harley...but still for the price tag how many other cooler things could you get? New Beemer, ducati?

Well that entirely comes down to what an individual considers 'cool'. I love Ducatis, but consider $1800.00 services very uncool, and I'd rather eat catshit with a knitting needle than own a BMW. But that's just me.

Nooo thats nasty :D lol but i get the idea.....ok so no beemers for you then.

BTW 1800 for service is bit over the top, but how much is servicing harley going to cost? Since you are saying they are no longer made our of wooden sticks and rusty nails....

Mainly because I've worked in two Beemer dealerships...so know what they're all about.

HD servicing is cheap as. Belt drive (and belts are covered by the 2 year warranty too), and self adjusting tappets. So it's basically just oil(s) and filter changes.

It's your money and your choice what you buy with it! (nothing wrong with Harley's)

You probably had your darkest thoughts when you bought the Beemer anyway!

The only thing that I would suggest is before you buy a cruiser, test ride one, it might not suit your riding style!

I would have a new Thunderbird in a heart beat but cruisers do my back in, damn it!

Bullshit. An 850 le mans is as close to a two wheeled Lada as you can get!

Sure. It's called a V-Rod. And for sure T' Birds are great. I used to sell Triumphs..they're a great product. I used to sell Guzzis as well. Far rather sell Harleys though.

Go ride one, then do the math.

If it's good, then buy it, if not, well, maybe you're wanting another bike, so keep looking.
