Anyone reguarly ride Mt Eden Road?

Yes I ride it quite regularly and no I don't find them slippery on my GSXR1000.

i ride my scooter there so it must just be the narrow tyres,and the fact the rear shoes are real worn so ive been using the front brake more

Yes! I skidded once there on a rainy day! Exactly at the intersection where you turn from Mt eden rd to normandy rd!

Cant say I've ever been bothered by that bit. Plenty of diesel and crap elsewhere on Mt Eden Road.
