Hey SpankMe,
That is ONE shiny, clean scoot!

My F650GS needs that treatment too...

I saw one the other day, I was surprised how small it was compared to the pics.

I love my soon-to-be Black '89 FZR250R

I saw an SV like that yesterday too, at Kaitaia Motorcycles, except the poor wee thing had a very bent front end.

What is love?

I'm reasonably enamoured of my "baby" ( ;) ), but I wouldn't say I "love" it, per se. I mean, I'm a woman and it's only a machine, completely unable to return any true feelings or emotions, and definitely unable to give me a hug when I need one.

But it always puts a smile on my face when I manage to get out on it, in the sun & have fun. :)

I gotta say I don't actually like my bike very much. I think there are much better options out there than a clunky 14 year old 250. Especially a broken one.

What I love is the fun to be had, the drag racing to be done, the queues to be jumped, the corners to be carved.

Can't say I love my moped-with-a-half-fairing.

I do have a certain resigned attachment toward it I suppose. Anyone f$#*ing with it would receive the full extent of my wrath. And I have no plans on ditching it for a 250 <_<

A bit like that song from Fiddler On The Roof - "Then you love me! ... I suppose I do ..."

I do recall loving my '63 Valiant (yes, I know, four wheels, sorry Spanky) but that went away and left me some years ago :(

I loved my 69 Monaro with 350 chev when i was 18, so did all my mates, we called it the 'lurrrve machine' and it'd go right off the clock(150+) even with 4 surfboards on the roof. aaahhhh the bad ol days 8-) Now im much more grown up & responsible & have a Statesman with a 350 chev 8-).
oops sorry this is a bike thread, well i loved the ol 67 triumph hardtail i had with 750 engine. maybe not quite 'loved' but anyway...

Me & my bike......we are one.
She dont talk back.
If she breaks I can fix it.
She sings to me while I ride.
Shes old but never grumpy in the morning.
She'll sit outside, & wont complain about how long she's been waiting.
She doesn't hold a grudge if I get shitty.
She'll take me were ever I want to go.

Cause it has duplicates?

In the nicest way possible of course, I don't like smarmy people.

ohhhh mate, you had a 400? I had the 250T with 2-1 pipe on it sweet sound, at 16yrs thought it was the mutts nutts. Exactly the same colour as your 250T. Hint to those who may pick one up-Never ever buy a Clymer manual for the things! Did 10,000kms in all sorts of weather on the thing from new in 12 months and decided I'd try a "custom" bike so traded it (before the pipes/collector box rotted) -bzzzz wrong move (no offense to those cruiser riders out there intended btw).
