Bleeding double front disk brakes

Hae, having trouble bleeding the brakes on my gtr250, any helpful tips?, im finding it soo hard.

I use a large siringe and back bleed starting on the left hand side caliper and then move to the right hand side removing old brake fluid from resivior as I go takes about 2 minutes to do the whole front that way

but if your working from the top always do the left side first then move to the right side,the fuild should flow out of the nipple evenly

It's pretty straight forward. Have you got a brake bleeder? You only need one of those cheap ones from Repco or Supercrap (just a hose with bottle and magnet to stick it to the disk or wherever). Take the boot off the bleed nipple, put a 7(?)mm ring spanner on the nipple, loosen it just very slightly so you're not fighting with it, stick the brake bleeder hose on the nipple, pump the brake lever up, then hold it and gradually rotate the ring spanner till the fluid comes out. Tighten the nipple up just before the lever gets all the way to the handlebar, then repeat. Make sure to top up the reservoir before it gets too low.
Sometimes it helps to tap any places in the brake hose where bubbles might gather - junctions, bends, etc.

It's not rocket science - if the vifferman can do it on the VFR with it's "dual combined braking system", replete with PCVs, hoses all over the place, secondary master cylinders, brake pistons for Africa, and a prescribed routine, then any numpty can.

If it's all too hard, a bike shop or brake place will do it for you with a vacuum bleeder - shouldn't cost much.

Yep, like Vifferman says although adjust 'bars so brake reservior is level and take cover off first. also put rag round it to avoid spillage onto paint work etc. MUST keep res topped up.

It might be easier to fill it from the caliper end, and push the bubbles toward the master cylinder. Bubbles just lurrrrve to float upward, which is a pain in the arse when you want them to go downwards.
