SOLD SOLD SOLD

Looking for 600cc power with all day comfort? Then this could be the bike for you!

I have owned this bike for the last 18 months and it has been superb. I use it for weekend day rides and week day commutes, so the mileage will change as I still use it, unless it's really pissing down.

The bike was imported from the UK in 2006 when the owner emigrated, so the speedo is in miles (odo 44,000 miles), not a prob as there are kph numbers on the speedo as well. The bike came with a folder of receipts for servicing and general parts from day one, so the owners have treasured it and looked after it. I have kept that up putting on new Michelin Pilot Road 2's (70% worn) and gave it a FULL SERVICE in Jan this year. George from Motorcycle Doctors did the work which included carb sync. The throttle bodies were adjusted and shims were all good. I put on new front brake pads at the time so the bike is mechanically mint, needing nothing spending on it.
Naturally for a 14 year old bike it has a few scratches here and there, but nothing that is not in keeping for it's age and mileage.

The bike has it's share of aftermaket goodies including:
Remus Grand Prix Can (sounds great!)
Oxford Heated Grips
Alloy Rear sets
Crash Bungs
Pack Rack
Powerbronze Tinted Screen
DID Gold Chain
Mini rear indicators
Flush mounted front indicators

Comes with the original OEM can in great condition, Micron Rear Paddock Stand, Owners manual, Original Service Log Book and a Haynes manual.

WOF is up soon and WILL be updated.
REGO is also up and WILL be updated upon sale.

This really is a great bike, physically much larger that the current crop of butt plug crotch rockets. Fuel consumption is also good. The reserve light comes on at 175miles (280 kilometers) from a 19 litre tank, no matter how I ride it. There is no fuel tap to piss around with!! And it's still good for 250kph!

Reason for sale: Time for a change of biking styles.

84 seems very low, stock they are about 100bhp and the Thundercat was launched in 1996 so not sure as to what yours is.

Anyway back on topic, forgot to mention that the bike has a headlight guard and braided brakes.

Cool bikes.
I went into Holeshot one day looking for a new bike, they had a GSXF 600 on the floor at the time and I was leaning towards it.
Spoke to Mr Salesman dude about it, and I mentioned the Thundercat they had in MT a few weeks prior.
He said '' we still have it and to be honest, I'd have that over the GSXF anyday''.
The Suzuki was more expensive than the Yamaha, but once I saw the Yamaha in the raw there was no arguing, I wanted it, I bought it.

Stock at teh engine they are 100hp. By the time they have lost power in inefficiencies in teh drive train, it is down to 84hp. Sounds right. Eg new BMW S1000RR puts out 190 odd hp at the engine, and 175hp at the back wheel.
