TTXGP Round 1

Finally got round to watching round one of the TTXGP at infineon raceway. For those that don't know, its an electric racing series in its first year.

Bikes are looking pretty quick, best lap of 1:57, compared to 1:38 for 600cc's isn't that flash, but thats still a 71mph lap :yes:

Pretty interesting watching as the designs are still quite different, at one point there was a nimble slower bike duking it out with a high power but not so good handling bike, making bout 5 passes per lap. Only gonna get better from here too :Punk:

At the last round of the MotoGP some dude was talking about how his bike represents green technology and wind power and stuff and that in ten years time all the bikes on this grid would probably be electric. Sent a cold shiver down my spine. May that day be way in the future.
