Safer advice would be to ride without a helmet. At least you'd have a reasonable chance of survival.

I am amazed that no doctors have come forward to confirm that Camels are their chosen brand too!

And like many stick-shifts, the smoothness and correct timing of gear shifts are wholly dependent on the driver's experience and skill; because the driver selects each gear, the higher the chance the wrong gear is selected.
