The mrs somehow managed to snap off the front right indicator on her 2002 SV650S.

Replacement part from Suzuki is $100 + 15 day wait.

Went hunting on ebay, and found some well priced indicators (Some nice LED ones w/ "E" markings too) (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LED-TURN-SIGNAL-INDICATORS-SUZUKI-GSXR-1000-SV650-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem19bce29aaeQQitemZ11054 3149742QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories). They're all "bolt + nut" design, but I don't see how they would possibly fit on the SV650S which has a large oval indicator mounting hole like this?:

Outside fairing: (Rubber stalk still in there... haven't gotten it out yet)

Cheers for that hayd3n. Unfortunately the SV650 indicators you linked are for the later model (K3 onwards) "angular" SV650S - ours is the older K2 and before "rounded" SV650s.

And those LED indicators, will they be right enough? If so I'll order these ones (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260599156017&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT). They're $25NZD incl shipping. Don't really mind the wait.

probably be bright but you will need to have led in the rear also and possibly a electronic flasher unit to assit in the flash

Ah okay, have just ordered 4 of those LED indicators. Where can I get LED flasher relays in NZ? They're dirt cheap on eBay (http://motors.shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=LED%20flasher&_dmpt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&_fcid=149&_jgr=0&_localstpos=&_sc=1&_sop=15&_sticky=1&_stpos=&gbr=1) but if I can buy locally for a reasonable price, might as well do that.
