Just stripped my 04 Yam wr250f down for a major service and now I need to find a good engine shop to re-profile valve seats to new valves, fit newvalve guides and possibly gas flow head to match seats (money allowing). Who's good at this work? I am in Christchurch so would like someone local but if I need to send away to get good work I will.
Also might get crank rebuilt so any recommendations for that too would be very appreciated! Chch preferably due to freight cost for crank.

cheers

Any engineering shops/people want to nominate themselves? I don't mind you know, surely somebody out there can point me to somebody who can do this work??? Please!

we use a local guy around here if you want to send it up, we did some yz250f ones this week and cost around $135, give me a pm if you want me to sort it out

Would have to have been fairly recently if they have ?? looked pretty busy in there the last time I went past a couple of months ago

John was retiring, last time I went past the doors were closed (few weeks back)so I assumed it had already happened

Thanks for the replies! I will investigate these leads next week. If anyone has anymore recomendations please post them.
I'm gonna see if I can pull the crank out this weekend (time allowing), could be interesting......
