My dear ole Mum used to make curtins for the local shops here in Levin. Now just does a casual few for a wee bit of pocket money if thats of any use.

could well be gingin, usually my mum or my wifes mum does them for us, but they're further away than Genie... will chat to my wife over the weekend, well after saturdays fun fun fun material shopping... i'm so excited for tomorrow to come :shifty:... and then get back to you... Thanks.

haha...men a shopping. I was in a ladies clothing store the other morning and this gentlemen was left sitting on one of those plastic fantastic green chairs looking extremely glum while his wife perused the racks. I approached him and said "that's just wrong, where's the big screen TV with motorsport?" his reply...."it's at home but i'm not allowed to watch, I have to come shopping"

Try Spotlight(at least the girls know about them if readymade and can advise what size you need)the other outlets like warehouse,bunnings,mitre10,brisco,k mart have no bloody idea,alas most readymade ones will fit a ranchslider if 2050-2100mm,not much good if the door is 1995mm.Also have a look at salvation army,hospice shops if open as they have good selection at times and cheap.Buy thermaldrape fabric to save cost of making(no need to have linings),look for remnant pieces in shops once again Spotlight and curtain shops with ends of rolls (5mts less)almost give away prices.
