California Superbike or Pro Rider training day at Manfeild?

which one would you pick?

gotta do a training day this spring......CSS at hampton downs or california superbike school. doing both is not an option this year

I have only done level 1 at CSS at hampton. I have only good things to say and everyone else i have talked says the same so the CSS would be my choice but as i hav'nt done the one at Manfield couldn't say which is best.

P.S. CSS is california superbike school.

The California superbike school is an internationally recognised school - you won't find a better source of instructional tuition on the planet.....

I wouldnt pick the "pro rider" (cough cough) day

They are not the same thing.
Pro-Rider is aimed (as far as I can tell from their website) at the more novice rider.
CSS is aimed, as the name implies, at riders with a higher level of experience who what to learn to go round the race track faster, or who want to learn to race faster.
The focci of the two 'schools' are quite different, so it depends on what it is that you want, and then which venue you are closer to and then how much money you want to spend.
Bearing in mind also that I think there are no more CSS schools until the spring/early summer, same for Pro-Rider it seems.

sorry but that is not the way it is with CSS.
It is all about corners (stability), and has nothing to do with racing.
The first level you are in 4th gear only without using your brakes.
There is a better thread that talks about this more but i can't find it.

I have done only level 1 (as said above), i then have done the ART days to practice what i had learnt.
I will be doing level 2 next year and more art days.
CSS give you better understanding of what your bike, and you, are capable of doing while riding your bike, and for me it has allready saved my arse so was well worth the money.

Nah, CSS is for all riders - not just racers/trackday riders. When I did level one there were more road bikes than race bikes! I haven't heard of pro-rider so can't comment, but personally got a lot out of levels 1 & 2 of CSS
