Looking for some pics the other day found these two from some rides a while ago. Reminded me what a great place NZ is to explore off road. WR is central Hawkes Bay, DR is in Central Otago.

A few pics of my favourtie rides.

1. Clevedon / Kawakawa Bay trail ride. First time they ran it and it was a great day out.
2. Jolly Rooster - Top of the LONG sandy hillclimb, nice view to take in while taking a break.
3. Mr Motorcycles Waikaretu Beach run. Great variety of terrain with some huge sand dunes to hoon up before checking out the view and heading down to the beach.

Blatantly stolen from Damien_Toman's Flickr page, the port waikato ride. My fave of the summer, even tho it ended with a stink injury & broken front break lever. Was such a neat ride with some cool hills on the expert bits, wish I'd bought a camera:

Wangapeka LaidBack 2007 - Just a bit of ice...
First time I'd come off the XR. Got my leg stuck between the front wheel and the headers. Took a year to get feeling back in that area of my calf.
